Eileen Bell CBE, Vice President, Autism NI (PAPA)
Eileen Bell’s extensive background in Community Development and constituency politics caused her to develop an early relationship in the developing political life of the charity in 2001. As an advocate for a number of families searching for services for their child with Autism, she became increasingly convinced that only fundamental legislative change would protect and promote the rights to services for this most socially excluded group.
Eileen Bell hosted the first lobby events for Autism at the Northern Ireland
Assembly and has given over more and more of her time to endorsing the work of the charity and its example of what can be achieved with consistency and strategic commitment.
Eileen works as Legislative Advisor for Autism NI (PAPA).
