John Clements
John Clements is a clinical psychologist and cofounder of Applied Psychology Services, the first independent psychology practice in the UK specialising in developmental disabilities. His 37 year career has been centred mainly around support for children and adults with developmental disabilities who have significant behavioural and emotional difficulties. Within this broad group John has been particularly involved in the lives of people with ASD. John is a prolific writer & books include ‘Problem Behaviour & People with Severe Learning Disabilities’, ‘People with Autism Behaving Badly: Helping people with ASD move on from behavioral & emotional challenges’. John has also contributed to many other Autism specific books and published numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals.
