Fundraising at Schools

Would you like to raise money for charity in your school?

Fundraising is an excellent way to build knowledge, raise awareness and encourage children and young people to support others. It can also be great fun! Here are just a few ways that you can help us:

Events

  • School Disco (this could be themed)
  • Fame Academy / Pop Idol Night
  • School Orchestral Evening
  • Sponsored Pop Quiz
  • Celebrate World Autism Awareness Day

Autism NI has lots more examples of how you can help fundraise.

Charity of the Year

Several schools have adopted Autism NI as a charity that they wish to support. In addition to fundraising, many of the schools have used classroom time to learn more about Autism and deepen their understanding of children and adults who are on the Spectrum.

As your Charity of the Year we can:

  • Give you educational resources and more information on Autism.
  • Attend assemblies or classes to talk to pupils and staff about Autism and our charity.
  • Help you with your fundraising, by providing advice, ideas and materials such as collection boxes, T-shirts, balloons and badges.
