63 participants took the plunge in May 2016 and took part in our Zipline challenge for Autism NI by zipping 1000 feet across the River Lagan. Well done to everyone who took part!
Delegates who took part in our 'Training for Trainers' programme have now acquired the additional skills to facilitate their own ‘Skills for Staying Safe’ programme to groups of young people.
On the 20th October 2015 the Autism community came together at the annual APGA Lecture in Stormont to hear lectures from Autism advocates Fionn Barenskie & Zach Zaborny & also give recognition to community groups in Northern Ireland.
On 6th June 2015, Autism NI took 40 participants to Scotland to climb the UK's highest mountain - Ben Nevis! This was one of the toughest challenges we have taken due to the adverse weather conditions and we would like to thank all participants for their efforts.
We celebrated the Young People, Autism and Justice Programme which has enabled Autism NI to deliver an innovative three year project with the Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) and the Autism community within the Greater Belfast area.
