Giving direct from your pay is convenient, safe and helps Autism NI plan financially. What’s more, it’s tax free! A small donation each pay day can make a significant different to lives of people with Autism.
Why payroll giving?
Its tax effective and very easy to set up and manage. The money comes out of your wages before it is taxed making it one of the most cost-effective ways of donating to us. For example, if you donate £10 a month to us from your pay, your gift will only cost you £7.80. The Inland Revenue gives us the extra £2.20! (at the basic rate of taxation).
Is it flexible?
Yes. You can increase or decrease the amount or change the charities you donate to at any time. Simply inform your salaries or payroll department.
How do I sign up?
Ask your payroll department if they have a scheme that allows you to donate through your salary. They may already have this set up. If your employer does not offer Payroll Giving or you are an employer that wishes to introduce it, simply call or e-mail us and we can help you set it up. As a Payroll Giving Donor, we will send you our members’ magazine “Contact” to keep you up to date with information on our activities and news. You can also access previous issues of Contact here.
