Autism NI, Northern Ireland’s local Autism charity, has added a new and crucial member to its staff team thanks to funding from BBC Children in Need. A “Social and Life Skills Officer” has been recruited to help children and young people with Autism throughout Northern Ireland.
Abbey mortgages help Autism NI raise funds (01/02/2008)
Autism NI and the Abbey have partnered up through Abbey’s new Mortgage Referral Scheme. Through the scheme, if Autism NI refers a customer to the Abbey and they complete a mortgage agreement, Abbey will give Autism NI 0.20% commission of the loan value.
Autism NI short listed for GSK Impact award (03/12/2007)
Autism NI has been short listed for a GlaxoSmithKline IMPACT Award. Autism NI is one of 20 charities from across the UK short listed for an award out of 436 applications. This nomination comes in recognition of Autism NI’s work providing support, information and training for individuals living with Autism and their families across Northern Ireland.
New Social and Life Skills project thanks to BBC Children in Need (03/12/2007)
Autism NI is adding a new member to its training team - a Social and Life Skills Officer - thanks to funding from BBC Children in Need. A grant of £64,802 from BBC Children in Need will fund this vital new post and project over two years, which is great news for children and young people affected by Autism throughout Northern Ireland.
